Easy Banana Bread recipe
Here's a simple and delicious banana bread recipe:
Ingredients:
3 ripe bananas (mashed)
1/3 cup melted butter
1/2 to 3/4 cup sugar (depending on your sweetness preference)
1 egg (beaten)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon baking soda
Pinch of salt
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
Optional Add-ins:
1/2 cup chopped nuts (e.g., walnuts or pecans)
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
Prepare the Bananas:
In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
Combine Ingredients:
Stir in the melted butter into the mashed bananas.
Mix in the baking soda and salt.
Add the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract, and mix well.
Gradually stir in the flour until just combined. If you're using nuts, chocolate chips, or cinnamon, fold them in at this stage.
Bake:
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
Bake for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool and Serve:
Remove the banana bread from the oven and let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes.
Transfer the bread to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
